Welcome to StartupLink, a platform designed to connect students and startup founders for meaningful collaboration. By accessing, browsing, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

You must be at least 16 years old or at high school to use our platform. If you are under 16, you may only use our services with parental or guardian consent.
StartupLink provides a digital platform where students and startup founders can connect, collaborate, and explore opportunities in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. We facilitate meaningful professional relationships and learning experiences.
You agree to use our platform in a professional, respectful manner that aligns with our community values and mission.
To maintain the integrity of our academic and entrepreneurial community, we verify users through institutional email addresses (.edu domains or verified institution-issued emails mainly through frontend and email verification).
While we verify email authenticity and institutional affiliation through frontend and email verification, we do not conduct comprehensive background checks, verify qualifications, or continuously monitor user behavior.Especially for special cases of graduating students who will use their private emails after their school emails expire.
You acknowledge that: We cannot guarantee the accuracy of user profiles, the legitimacy of opportunities, or the trustworthiness of individuals. All interactions and decisions are made at your own discretion and risk.
By uploading content, you grant StartupLink:
All platform features, designs, logos, code, algorithms, and proprietary content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not: Copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or use our proprietary content without explicit written permission.
All content must be original, appropriate, and comply with applicable laws. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on third-party rights or violate platform guidelines.

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination. We reserve the right to take immediate action without prior notice for serious violations.
StartupLink operates as a digital networking and collaboration platform. We provide tools and infrastructure but do not participate in, oversee, or guarantee the outcomes of user interactions, collaborations, or business relationships.
We are intermediaries only - facilitating connections without involvement in actual startup operations, team dynamics, or business decisions.
Our platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StartupLink and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StartupLink from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Where applicable, we honour rights under the EU/UK GDPR, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other data-protection regimes. Our Privacy Policy describes cross-border processing and your rights.
Use of Microsoft-hosted infrastructure is subject to Microsoft's Product Terms and Data Protection Addendum. We select subprocessors that maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures consistent with Singapore PDPA and internationally recognised standards.

Users accessing our platform from outside Singapore acknowledge that they are subject to Singapore law and jurisdiction. You waive any claims inconsistent with this choice of law to the extent permitted by your local jurisdiction.
